Abstract

Transformation and creation of new formats of rapidly developing communication processes and technologies in the conditions of modern information society is carried out in the direction of increasing the volume of visual information, not only complementing verbal forms of representation of the world, but also dominating the processes of political practices. Communication processes that ensure the functioning of political institutions in most situations are visually attributed and focused not so much on speech and auditory as on visual techniques, which allows us to assert that they are the main tool of political communication and a means of constituting political reality. This article examines the basic concepts of political and communication processes that have developed in modern Russian science. The high role of visualization as the latest communication technology is determined. It is concluded that the transformation and creation of new formats of rapidly developing political communication processes and technologies in the conditions of modern information society is carried out in the direction of increasing the volume of visual information, not only complementing the verbal forms of representation of the world, but also dominating the processes of political practices.
