Abstract
The constituents of invertebrate communities and the primary factors affecting zonation in two selected littoral locations on Amchitka (St. Makarius Bay and Square Bay) were identified. The zonation of representative invertebrate species relative to algal zonation along the two transects at the study locations is discussed. Several of the climatic variables that may affect zonation are defined. Zoogeographic affinities are discussed briefly.
