Abstract

Atheistic instruction forms an integral part of the communist education of young people. It is a fact, of course, that very few college students are under the influence of religious prejudices. Nevertheless the general task of training young specialists demands more intensive atheistic propaganda, for our colleges must train highly skilled specialists who can at the same time educate the masses. The resolution of the Central Committee of the CPSU, "The Tasks of Party Propaganda Under Present-Day Conditions," points out: "It must be borne in mind that it is precisely a high standard of communist ideology, a close link with the practice of communist construction and the life of the people, that will enable the intelligentsia to play their part to the fullest in Soviet society."
