Abstract
The article focuses on issues related to traffic calming in historical urban areas. The work presents changes that were proposed in Poznań. These proposals have been implemented in the PTV Visum simulation environment. The conducted simulations allowed to formulate conclusions regarding changes in distribution of traffic distribution and the modal split of transport tasks. Additional recommendations were also presented.
