Abstract

Over the course of 50 years, the history of the apostles of the Slavs became the basis for at least three thematic threads taken up by the Upper Silesian Polish-language press. The dissemination of the idea of cooperation between the Slavs disappeared when the topic developed into Pan-Slavism. In the religious dimension, the encyclical about St. Cyril and Methodius The interest of the editors of Upper Silesian newspapers in the Cyrylomethodian tradition was strengthened by the publication by Leo XIII. an ordinance enabling services to be held in the south of Europe in the language introduced by the apostles of the Slavs.
