Abstract

The article is devoted to the actualization of traditional values in the Soviet culture during the Great Patriotic War after being relatively obliviated in the early Soviet era. The role of traditional values in the achievement of victory in the war by the Soviet people is shown. Considerable attention is paid to the Soviet war poetry that represents traditional values, which in turn influenced construction of the renewed Soviet cultural identity during the war period.
