Abstract
ABSTRACT The Malaysian Journal of Library and Information Science, which began in July 1996, has now completed its first eight years of publication. This paper traces the evolution of the journal from print to electronic format. It also presents an analysis of the number and types of papers published in the journal, the authorship pattern, and the authors' nationality. The journal is a welcome addition to the limited number of library and information science journals emanating from South East Asia.
