Abstract

The aim of exploration geochemistry is to obtain information on the composition of the bedrock beneath the drift, especially its possible mineralizations, by analysing the trace metal contents of materials readily available in nature. Both total and partial concentrations may be used, provided that the results are directly comparable with each other. This means that sampling and analysis must be strictly controlled.
