Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the factors related to the management and planning of the work process and health education of Dental Specialist Centers (CEO) in Ceara State. A database was used with the results of the external evaluation of the 1st cycle of the Access and Quality Improvement Program of the Dental Specialist Centers (PMAQ-CEO). Through descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, it was possible to verify a significant association between CEO with management modality through inter-municipal or regional consortiums in the following aspects: training and qualification of managerial professionals, stronger employment ties, management actions for the organization of the CEO's work process, shorter estimated waiting time for users to attend the CEO, user participation in social control and satisfaction surveys, conducting continuing education activities in the planning and qualification process. actions developed. It can be concluded that factors related to work processes, management and health education are associated with CEOs with management modality executed through regional consortia when compared to those belonging to direct administration.
