Abstract
One year before the upcoming celebration of the great jubilee - 100 years since the birth of the great manof modern Macedonian poetry and culture, we honor ourselves to explore and interpret one aspect of the poeticpeculiarities of Shopov's oeuvre. The dominant themes and styles in Shopov's discourse are a challenge for researchin our scientific report on the occasion of this prestigious conference.We interpret Shopov - as an enigma of dominant symbols: silence, nothingness, fire, sun, lake, but also Shopov as:birth of the word, admiration of beauty, faith in prayer. Prayer through song – elevates poetry to a sacred act.With this approach to analysis and interpretation, a hermeneutic is possible that illuminates the poetic (thematic andstylistic dominants) and penetrates into the in-depth processes of his poetry.We discover Shopov as an infinite "mine" of scientific knowledge from which, through appropriate procedures, it ispossible to discover, define, describe and interpret the deep layers of this multifaceted and complex poetry.
