Abstract

ABSTRACT In this Critical theoretical essay, current metaphors for Whiteness are analysed and critiqued so as to imagine new metaphors that may contribute to more effective antiracist education. By drawing on Critical Race Theory and Critical Whiteness Studies, the author describes how reconstructed whiteness metaphors may move more effectively towards social justice through the Pragmatic Abolition of Whiteness.
