The Stakes and Limits of Schmitt's Critique of Kant's Cosmopolitanism Jean-Claude Monod; Jean-Claude Monod Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (UMR 8547, Archives Husserl) and École Normale Supérieure, Paris JEAN-CLAUDE MONOD is a research fellow at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (UMR 8547, Archives Husserl) and teaches at the École Normale Supérieure (Paris). He specializes in post-Hegelian German philosophy and political philosophy, looking in particular at the intersection of politics, religion, and modernity. He has translated essays by Jean-Luc Nancy, Eva Geulen, Gerard Wajcman and Willy Apollon. He currently resides in Seville, Spain.
