Abstract

Undulators In article number 2100701, Ozan Akdogan and co-workers synthesize a sub-mm undulator prototype with a period ranging from 250 μm to 10 mm using L10 ordered FePt micro magnets developed by utilizing photolithography. Room temperature coercivity of the structures reaches up to 1.4 Tesla. Simulations yield output radiation with 0.52 nm wavelength and 0.7 Giga-Watt peak power. The synthesized FePt micromagnets could be utilized in next-generation miniaturized undulators.
