Abstract

This article presents a conceptual model of the group decision-making process that identifies the essential factors and processes that impact upon group decisions. The article attempts to integrate concepts from various academic disciplines to provide a theoretical framework suitable for generating research and to organize and synthesize past and future research findings. In essence, the model proposed herein represents an effort to develop a foundation for a general theory of group decision making.
