Abstract

In the last 20 years, the development of the Russian tourism industry has resulted in a dramatic change in the growth of the number of trips made by Russian citizens abroad, including tourist trips to the European Union (EU) countries; however, there is little research concerning outbound tourism from Russia. This study analyses the current trends in tourism flows from Russia to the EU countries. Next, tourism flows in the short-term perspective are forecasted.
