Abstract
Polycarbonate (PC) was modified with organic-inorganic nanostructured acrylate polymer and its tensile and impact properties were studied. The PC alloys exhibited higher flexibility than pure PC and the tensile strength hardly decreased with the addition of the modifiers. The SEM results indicated that the inorganic particles and the acrylic ester polymer were all dispersed in the PC matrix forming a co-continuous phase.
