Abstract
The uneven force of the wind rotor on the rotation plane causes the torque fluctuation of wind rotor and unbalanced load because of wind shear, tower shadow turbulence and other factors. In this paper the dynamic aerodynamic model of three-blade wind turbine applied to individual pitch control is built using the blade element theory, and the wind rotor torque is simulated by this model in conjunction with the corresponding wind model. The individual pitch control strategy which can control the blade edgewise torque indirectly is proposed based on the multi-stage dynamic weight distribution of the pitch angle according to the azimuth by studying the rule of the torque fluctuation of the wind rotor. Finally, the correctness of the detailed wind turbine model and the superiority of individual pitch control strategy are verified in simulation. All of these provide reference for the implementation of individual pitch control system on an actual wind turbine.
