Abstract

Abstract The duocentric motor drive system is commonly employed in various fields such as the printing and dyeing paper industry and industrial production. As one of the dual-motor systems, the duocentric motor system sometimes causes torque imbalance due to sudden load changes during underwater operation. This imbalance seriously affects the coordinated operation of the duocentric motor system. Addressing these issues, this paper proposes a control approach utilizing a combination of speed and torque control to manage the duocentric motor system. Through simulation, this control technique is validated to enhance the operation capability of the duocentric motor while ensuring system stability and reliability.
