Abstract

This article describes a retrospective study to demonstrate the efficacy of topical 0.002% mitomycin C (MMC) as an adjunctive and alternative treatment in primary and recurrent conjunctival-corneal intraepithelial neoplasia (CCIN and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Six cases of pathologically confirmed, recurrent CCIN and one case of primary SCC were treated with topical MMC 0.002% eyedrops four times daily until the tumor regressed completely as observed clinically and proved by impression cytology.
