Abstract

In this study, a top-emitting organic light-emitting device (TEOLED) with high efficiency and near angle-independence was fabricated on silicon substrate. The blue-shift of the resonant wavelength (RW) with increasing view angles was nearly negligible. The theoretical simulation was described by a model based on the Fabry–Perot microcavity structure. The maximum current efficiency of the fabricated device is 11.5 cd/A at 12 V.
