Abstract
Veterinarians face dynamic and changing situations daily as a matter of routine, but life-threatening emergencies on large animals can really take a toll, especially to the new graduate. Here, we will cover five common emergencies presented to bo¬vine veterinarians: bloat, down cow, dystocia, uterine prolapse, and the down neonate.
