Abstract
Overcoming poverty and consequences of inequality is required because poverty and inequality play a far more destructive role for modern economy than before. Eradicating poverty is one of the aims of our planet’s sustainable development declared by the UN in 2015. In this study, the subject of eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions has been researched as a path of the government policy of various countries. Statistics and government support measures as well as social security for underprivileged sectors of the public have been reviewed; an analysis of the government measures aimed at rooting out squalor in Russia, Canada and Kazakhstan has been made.
