Abstract

This research aims to describe the practice of tolerance in religious life at school. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data sources: (1) PPKn teachers, PAI teachers, Buddhism teachers, student council coordinators and leaders, and students; (2) phenomena, religious activities that involve inter-religious cooperation; (3) documents. Data collection through observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis used interactive models and triangulation of data sources. The results showed that: 1) the school has a BTQ programme, Friday prayers, princesses, while non-Muslims carry out their activities and celebrate religious holidays where all students and teachers work together to prepare activities; 2) there are individuals who disagree with interfaith activities and the school does not have a place of worship for non-Muslims; 3) the school mediates with individuals and student council coordinators and allows students and teachers to carry out religious activities inside and outside the school. Recommend that the programme be implemented for all religious communities in the school
