Abstract

In all developed countries of the world, there is now an active digitalization of almost all aspects of human activity, and now it can be absolutely certain that any aspect of human existence has either become digital, or is becoming, or will definitely be digital in the near future. The most important direction of the state innovation policy of the Republic of Belarus for the current fi ve years is the digital transformation of traditional sectors of the national economy. For the successful digitalization of these traditional sectors of the Belarusian economy, it is imperative to support completely new management models that are based on innovative digital technologies. The digitalization of management in the agricultural sector at all levels, from the state to the small agrarian business, will not be an exception. Today, a comprehensive large-scale digitalization of domestic agriculture is a requirement of the time and the most important already simply vital condition for increasing its competitiveness and reaching an acceptable profitability both for the processing of agricultural products with its subsequent sale, and initially for agricultural production itself, the profitability of which is still extremely low in the country. The article presents some provisions for the study of world experience in the modern transformation of management systems in agriculture, and in particular, taken from the experience of North America, Western Europe and the Russian Federation. The main key problems and trends in the digital development of the agricultural sector, important points for the implementation of tasks for the successful digital transformation of Belarusian agriculture and improving the efficiency of public administration in the domestic agro-complex are described.
