Abstract
The new CSWE standards of accreditation require skills to strengthen the research component of the cuniculum. This paper suggests ways in which group work educators can particularly selze this opportunity for enriching research competence in group work and increasing the output of group work research. The paper illustrates these possibilities by presenting a programmatic innovation in developing and carrying out a student-faculty research project.
