Abstract

Advances of technology besides social networking, today is used as a bussiness area of online trading or buying and selling of various commodities were easier for buyers to get the desired goods very easily, simply by ordering through social networking, the goods will be directly sent by the seller to the buyer. Technological advance is also used by some parties for their harm bussiness, for example now which become an attention was the sale of narcotics online, drugs can be purchased over the internet easly. This study uses normative juridical approach, which examines narcotics online that occurred in Jakarta using the rules in the book of the Law No. 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics and Law No. 11 Year 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions. This study related with BNN efforts in law enforcement and counter-narcotics online that occurred in Jakarta. Based on the results of the study have revealed that the efforts of law enforcement and prevention of drug trafficking conducted online under study by the National Narcotics Agency Territory of Jakarta are criminal sanctions against illicit trafficking that use online media, can be done at the time of the transaction in the suspicious online media has proven to be selling and buying narcotics by disassemble the code that is used by the perpetrators. In revealing this modus the National Narcotics Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the National Police Unit Cyber crime, State Code Institution, Customs officers, BPOM (Agency for Food and Drug Administration), UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime), INCB (International Narcotics Control Board).
