Abstract
TIMELINK Integrated Industrial Engineering System is a fully interactive computer software system composed of interconnected application software modules, each applying a conventional industrial engineering technique or function. A central access facility allows enquiries to be made of the industrial engineering data base and for the automatic transfer of data to other computer systems, including other TIMELINK installations for networking purposes. This paper describes the structure and content of TIMELINK and the industrial engineering needs that it is intended to fulfil as a commercially available 'off the shelf' software system.
