Abstract
This study examines the security of power systems. Power systems rely heavily on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) time synchronization services. This service is susceptible to Time Synchronization Attacks (TSAs), which can spoof the timing results of GNSS and cause serious consequences. Therefore, in order to improve the time security of the network, a new detection method, i.e., a three-step iterative filter, is proposed. Simulation results show that the scheme can detect the slow time synchronization attack within 1 s and can effectively suppress the attack, which effectively reduces the impact of the time synchronization attack on timing accuracy. The scheme has a relatively small error, consumes fewer resources, and is more conducive to engineering implementation.
