Abstract
A method for measuring the energy of a medium-energy cyclotron is presented. It is based on a single detector which simultaneously detects gamma rays from two spatially separated targets. The method is absolute depending upon the cyclotron or local oscillator frequency and distance measurements. It is applicable to the variety of beam energies and particles from a variable energy cyclotron in the medium-energy range.
