Abstract
NB: The following description is for interest purposes only. This article only offers a brief synopsis of the steps taken during the TTA procedure. Any surgeon interested in performing this procedure is advised to attend a training session with a wet-lab practical course. PREMEDICATION, ANAESTHESIA AND POSITIONING After premedication with acepromazine and morphine, general anaesthesia is induced with propofol and maintained with isoflurane and oxygen. In addition, epidural anaesthesia is performed using preservative-free morphine diluted in Ringer’s solution.
