Abstract

The Tian Ma Radio Telescope (TMRT) is the largest fully steerable radio telescope in Asia. It has a primary reflector of 65-m in diameter with a shaped Cassegrain configuration and is mainly used for deep space exploration and radio astronomy observations. It is composed of a series of systems, such as antenna system, active surface system, receiver system, and digital system. The TMRT's equipment is very complicated. To improve the maintainability, operating efficiency, and reliability of TMRT, the Tian Ma Telescope State Awareness System (TMTSAS) was developed. The system implements remote, unmanned, multi-user, real-time, visual state, abnormal state alarms, and data sharing functions.
