Abstract

In view of the low utilization rate of zinc in secondary zinc-air batteries, 3DOM (three-dimensionally ordered macroporous) Ni was constructed on the steel mesh by colloidal crystal template-electrodeposition method, which significantly improved the interface area and optimized the electric field distribution in the electrodeposition process. Meanwhile, the ZIF-8 derivative is uniformly coated on the surface of 3DOM nickel to inhibit the hydrogen evolution reaction in the electrodeposition process of zinc, improving the affinity of electrode surface to zinc, and realizing the uniform electrodeposition of zinc. Finally, a highly reversible negative electrode material for neutral zinc-air battery was obtained, and 200 cycles were realized at a depth of discharge (DOD) of 41.7%.
