Abstract

The advent of thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) has resulted in improved morbidity and mortality for patients compared with open thoracic aortic repair. Yet it remains unclear how chronic kidney disease (CKD) affects TEVAR outcomes. The paucity of data on CKD patients can be rectified using the robust vascular-specific Vascular Quality Initiative. This study's goal was to identify adverse outcomes associated with CKD stage including postoperative 30-day outcomes and 1-year survival after TEVAR for aortic aneurysm.
