Abstract
College student hospitalizations for stabilization have drastically increased in recent years, and higher ed officials and parents often mislabel or misidentify these students as addicts, which may contribute to or aggravate the crisis, according to Peter F. Lake, J.D., Director of the Center for Excellence in Higher Education Law and Policy at the Stetson University College of Law; and Tom Bennett, Higher Education Recovery Coordinator at Acadia Healthcare.
