Abstract
A brief review of the status of modelling of thermostructural composites is given, emphasizing topics discussed at the workshop sessions. The perceived needs for new models and techniques to predict composite performance under loading conditions of importance in various industrial applications is discussed, with a summary of recommended areas for focussed near-term research.
