Abstract Thermold 75 is a chromium-molybdenum-cobalt hot work steel that has outstanding resistance to softening when tempering, and also very good thermal fatigue characteristics. It is recommended for aluminum die casting dies, forging dies and extrusion dies. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep.
