Abstract
AbstractAn analysis of thermodynamical properties, such as excess entropy, softness of the constituent pseudoatoms, and specific heat, is presented for liquid metals and alloys in the hard sphere reference system. The formalism, based on the concentration and excess volume dependent hard‐sphere behaviour, provides a basis for microscopic understanding of the thermodynamics of alloys.
