Abstract
The thermodynamic functions of heat capacity, heat content, free energy and entropy have been calculated for gaseous oxazole, isoxazole, isoxazole- d 3, thiazole, isothiazole and 1,3,4-thiadiazole in the temperature range 50–2000°K by using the observed fundamental vibration frequencies and molecular parameters. A rigid rotator harmonic oscillator model is assumed in each case.
