Abstract

Abstract Thermally assisted penetration of the magnetic flux through the surface barrier governs behavior of the penetration field and the magnetization in the HTSC samples with weak volume pinning. The energy barrier for flux penetration is estimated as a function of the external magnetic field and the magnetic induction within sample for both individual and collective penetration regimes.
