Abstract
Thermal stratification in the storage tank is essential to provide a thermosyphonic effect in water heating systems, and it also helps to reduce heat losses. A periodic modelling of thermally stratified storage tanks has been presented, and comparisons of theoretical and experimental results have been made in this paper.
