Abstract

Electrochemical Anodization Self-organised TiO2 nanotubes are synthesized on a Ti substrate using electrochemical anodization. In article number 2100040 by Patrik Schmuki and co-workers, thermal annealing of the tubes up to 450 °C in air at different ramping rates are investigated for their effect on the photoelectrochemical performance. A ramping rate of 1 °C s–1 leads to the highest performance due to a most effective charge separation in the illuminated tubes.
