Abstract

The thermal decomposition of mixed-ligand complexes of cobalt, nickel and copper saccharinates with hydrazine and ethylenediamine were studied in static air atmosphere. The first decomposition stage usually corresponds to dehydration, dehydrazination or deethyleneamination. Kinetic analysis of data indicates that these stages follow a low energetic process. All complexes form metal saccharinates as intermediates and the final decomposition products are found to be the respective metal oxides.
