Abstract
Thermally induced phase conjugation by degenerate four-wave mixing of nanosecond laser pulses in copolymers of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate and methyl methacrylate doped with rhodamine 6G in the weak absorption region, low-reflectivity regime, is reported. The potential of the phase-conjugation technique for providing information about thermal properties of dye-doped polymeric compounds susceptible to be used as laser media is discussed.
