Abstract

The dependence of the nuclear caloric curve on the neutron-proton asymmetry is studied by the thermal hard-photon thermometer via the isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model. We find that the isospin dependence of the nuclear temperatures is weak; however, this effect is still visible over a wide asymmetry range. The temperatures for the neutron-rich systems are higher than those for the neutron-poor systems.
