Abstract

Nuclear magnetic relaxation measurements have been taken in bcc solid 3He between 100 mK and 4 mK. The relaxation times at very low temperatures were dominated by the thermal boundary resistance between solid 3He and copper wires. The boundary resistance depended on the molar volume of the solid 3He and on the 4He impurities.
