Abstract

The DAST prepared in this study was used as a guest crystal to blend with a thermal stable PU polymer host to form a guest-host polymer system. The thermal properties and the optical property of the DAST thin film as well as the optical attenuation characteristics of the DAST-PU film were studied. The results showed that the guest-host polymer film was stable up to 240℃ and its optical loss was less than 2.53 dB at 1310 nm and 1.8 dB at 1550 nm, respectively.
