Abstract

This article describes the role of occupational therapists who work in a specialist multidisciplinary service for children with pervasive developmental disorders (PDD), particularly those with autistic spectrum disorder. The authors describe how occupational therapists assess, plan and implement intervention with pre-school age children with PDD.
