Abstract
This talk briefly reviews the current experimental and theoretical developments in high Tcsuperconductivity, focusing on the pseudogap regime of the underdoped region of the phase diagram. We argue that the appearance of superconductivity cannot be explained based on the traditional approach of quasiparticles exchanging some bosons, and that something fundamentally different is called for.KeywordsHigh Temperature SuperconductivityVortex CoreSpin Density WaveOrbital CurrentSinglet PairThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
