Abstract

A theory of cross relaxation (CR) in dilute spin systems is formulated differently from conventional ones and applied to dilute spin-\textonehalf{} systems with magnetic dipole-dipole interactions. It is shown that it is not necessary to introduce any minimum distance between spins and that CR between spins is affected by phase disturbance.
