Abstract
Abstract We give a description of domain wall motions in ferromagnets in a strong external magnetic field starting from the Landau-Lifshitz phenomenological model using a singular limit analysis. We obtain a theoretical formula for the velocity of the domain wall motion. The value of the velocity depends on the magnitude of the external magnetic field and the relation between the direction of the external magnetic field and the direction of the domain wall motion.
